Scope:

This technical report provides overview of the state of the science in methodologies and procedures for setting occupational exposure limits (OELs) and occupational exposure bands (OEBs) and includes case studies.
It describes a general framework for the development of OELs or OEBs for individual nano-objects, and their aggregates and agglomerates greater than 100 nanometres (NOAAs), and for categories of NOAAs for different amount of available data.
