Scope:	This Technical Report (TR) will investigate the use and suitability of in vitro tests and methodologies implemented in the assessment of the biodurability of nanoparticles and their ligands in biological and environmental media. This TR is intended to focus more on methodologies implemented to assess biodurability and therefore will exclude the general review of relevant literature on all nanoparticle types in relation to their biodurability in animal experiments and in the environment.
